Is there a way to read kindle books on Windows which do not support Windows?
As we discussed in the comments, you can use the Kindle Cloud Reader to read your books in your browser, instead of in the Windows desktop application.

It's in a dropdown, now. Go to Your Account > Manage Your Kindle and you should see a screen like this:
The dropdown on the left (next to View) is what you're looking for.
